These “pantry jars” are part of my “Prairie House” Collection and are available in two sizes as shown. They would be great to use for display with some grubby tapers, as a “utensils” jar on your counter top, filled with cinny sticks (available through my website) or even as a jar for fresh or dried flowers. You are only limited by your imagination…… and if ya can't imagine anything….they look good empty as well!!….lololol.
They are old fowler preservative jars and have been “primmed up” and trimmed with a sprig of Sweet Annie, a hand rusted bell and a grubby tag reading 1794.

Scarecrow Make-do
He wears a prim cardi accented with a rusty pin and buttons and a little prim crow. Underneath he wears a woollen shirt trimmed with rusty pins and a grubby lace neckpiece.
He has a muslin scarf, grubby hat and sports oversized grubby gloves. His face is handstitched and his hair is made from frayed jute.
He stands on a painted and distressed timber make-do stand and is 19" tall.
